The Shopper2Buyer team had the opportunity to reward Wal Mart and their shoppers during Personal Care Week with two concerts from their Axe Concert Series Lineup. But with only two weeks until the date of execution they had no way to promote the events. They contacted Mindshare Promotions who were able to provide multiple on site radio events to pre promote and support the effort day of event with some great results.

Kimberly Clark / Huggies -- The Urban Diaper Endorsement
Until now, Diapers as a category have never advertised on Radio. Mindshare Promotions surveyed stations in New York and LA to find DJs who were pregnant or new parents We found 9 top personalities on English and Spanish Language stations, taught them all about Huggies and provided them with a year supply of diapers and wipes. Each Day the DJ’s talked about their kids and Huggies on the air, on social media, on their blog or at events. Mindshare Promotions conducted a series of “meet and greets” with the DJs at top retailers in the market • Including a “Store Takeover” at the Babies “R” Us Flagship store in Union Square |

Mazda Minneapolis DJ Endorsement / Minnesota State Fair Case Study
Mazda has had some great success breaking through the clutter on radio with DJ Endorsements, so we created a program to run in Minneapolis during 3Q16
We felt that Endorsements would be a great way to promote the brand as well as get audiences excited about Mazda’s display at the Minnesota State Fair.
Our recommendation featured 3 personalities at top stations in Minneapolis
We gave each of the DJ’s a brand new Mazda to drive for six weeks. Each day they talked LIVE about their Mazda experience and Minnesota State Fair
We matched the Mazda vehicle that would fit best with the DJ’s lifestyle.

COMMUNITY HERO
To celebrate the spirit of Cesar Chavez, we asked stations to run a series of on-air mentions asking listeners to nominate someone in their community that has made a huge impact. The nominees were recognized and the announced winner received a $1,000.00 donation (or $500.00 in smaller markets) to their favorite charity or school. LEAVE YOUR MARK Cesar Chavez left his mark on the United States and there are many streets, schools and buildings that commemorate his life’s work. We asked stations to run a promotion where listeners submit a photo of themselves in front of a Cesar Chavez street sign, Cesar Chavez School or public building, monument, etc. and briefly describe their life’s work and what they would like to be known for. One winner will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship (or $500.00 in smaller markets)to help them work towards and achieve their goals in life. |

NATIONAL DAY OF SERVICE

Stations were asked to get their listeners to help make March 31st “The Cesar Chavez Day of Service” by running a series of on-air mentions asking listeners to log onto http://www.takepart.com/chavez to sign the petition to make Cesar Chavez’s birthday a national day of service. Stations included the link and information on their website and social media platforms. This promotion began as soon as stations were able to begin instead of waiting until the week of the opening.
RESULTS
The 82 negotiated on air promotionsgenerated 3227 mentions of Cesar Chavez and generated 39,748,850 Gross Impressions. 36 stations participated in the Grand Prize giveaways of $1000.00 or $500.00 through the "Leave Your Mark" or "Community Hero" promotion. $27,000.00 was awarded as prizing through these promotions.* There was at least one station in each market that executed the larger promotion. 47 stations included digital elements on their websites and e-mail blasts while 44 stations generated a social promotion through Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. These generated 5,644,450 digital impressions for Cesar Chavez. The entire contest generated $436,612.07 in Radio Promotion Value for Cesar Chavez and Pantelion in addition to the purchased schedule

BBVA Compass -- NBA All Star Game Case Study
The goal of the promotion was to increase interest in the BBVA Compass Rising Stars sweepstakes, the Rising Stars Game and BBVA Compass’ NBA Partnership. This promotion took place in the Dallas, Houston, Phoenix and San Antonio markets with a remote at a selected branch on January 25, 2014.

Qatar Airways DFW Launch - Texas Rangers Case Study
Mindshare Promotions explored events and promotional opportunities specific to Dallas and the markets feeding the DFW to Doha Route. We searched for events that would appeal to the Business Traveler or the more affluent High End Leisure Travelers.
Mindshare created a 3 month partnership with ESPN Radio in Dallas that targeted their captive audience of Rangers fans. Qatar was a sponsor of Opening Day at the Globe Life Park in Arlington on April 30, 2014. Qatar Airways was also the title sponsor of the entire 3-hour afternoon show on June 13 and June 25. The station held broadcasts live at the Owner’s Box at the Omni Hotel in Dallas and in Fort Worth from 3-6p hosted by Matt Mosley and Tim Cowlishaw. Qatar had signage in the broadcast area as well as a table setup where they hosted an airline ticket giveaway for two. Qatar received names and claims, as well as promotional mentions throughout and leading up to the broadcast. In addition, they received mentions on Twitter/Facebook the day of each event.

Quelf
Spin Master Games and Mindshare Promotions partnered for a repeat performance of the Quelf Radio Promotion. It worked so well in 2012 that we did again as part of a “Back To College” promotion that ran from August 12th to August 23rd. Quelf is the essential game for any college dorm room, tailgate or house party. The DJ’s got in on the fun and showed listeners how wacky and crazy this game can get. One morning show got so carried away they even made a video of themselves playing Quelf and posted online to share with their listeners. Hollywood Fact or Crap
Spin Master Games partnered with Mindshare promotions to reach out to stations to give away copies of the NEW game Hollywood Fact or Crap. This promotion ran from 9/16 to 9/29 with the 2013 Emmy’s taking place right in the middle of the campaign on 9/22. Stations love talking about the Emmy’s and celebrities so the timing couldn’t have been better to leverage giveaways of the NEW Hollywood Fact or Crap. Stations quizzed listeners on air, ran web contests where listeners tried to pick Emmy winners in different categories, in addition to social media. All you had to know to win was it Fact or Crap! |

A recap of our November December promotion for SpinMaster Games for "Would You Rather". Mindshare Promotions has been negotiating radio promotions for SpinMaster Games during 2012 without a radio buy attached. Stations run on air promotions for games like "Battle of the Sexes" Beat The Parents, Quelf, Logo and Fact or Crap. Stations talk about the game, play the game on air and giveaway free copies of the games to their listeners through on air and website contests. The latest project featured the game "Would You Rather..." which poses two equally uncomfortable situations to find out which you "would rather". |
Mindshare Promotions was able to make game creator Justin Heimberg available for interviews.
Mindshare Promotions was contracted to gather 50 stations to execute the promotion and have 10 stations to interview Justin on air. We were able to get a total of 81 stations to participate with SpinMaster Games "Would You Rather" included in 3,985 on air mentions and over 1.5 million digital impressions from banner ads, Facebook posts, and email blasts to the stations listeners.
During the busy holiday season, Would You Rather was promoted across the country, with over 17 million gross impressions inside of radio station programming at minimal cost to the client.
Mindshare Promotions was contracted to gather 50 stations to execute the promotion and have 10 stations to interview Justin on air. We were able to get a total of 81 stations to participate with SpinMaster Games "Would You Rather" included in 3,985 on air mentions and over 1.5 million digital impressions from banner ads, Facebook posts, and email blasts to the stations listeners.
