2016 Semper Fidelis All American Bowl Game
The Semper Fidelis Football Program demonstrates the Marine Corps’ commitment to developing quality citizens and reinforces its core values of honor, courage and commitment. The Semper Fidelis Football Program is unique because it brings together 90 student-athletes from across the country who demonstrate success both on and off the gridiron. Semper Fidelis All-American’s are selected for being among the top-rated high school football players in the nation; however, the selection process is also dedicated to choosing players based on their character, academic performance and leadership. The United States Marine Corps only selects the best and the brightest to join its ranks, just like the players selected for the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl. The Marine Corps partners with a third-party recruiting professional to select elite high-school athletes for the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl. The Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl demonstrates the Marine Corps' commitment to developing quality citizens and reinforces core values of honor, courage, and commitment. The Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl offers an opportunity for quality players, coaches and Marines to meet, practice and work together to teach skills important on and off the field, such as leadership, self-confidence and teamwork. The game took place on January 3, 2016 at the StubHub Center in Carson, CA.
One of the media objectives was to partner with top-ranked local radio station to reach the local prospect audience. Mindshare chose KAMP-FM aka AMP Radio, a top 40 station including pop, EDM, Hip-Hop and R&B. They are also ranked #3 against AD18-24
The radio promotion aligned with local community events to drive attendance for SFAAB, including local high schools events. Mindshare leveraged promotional content on-air and online to drive awareness through in programming sponsorships and promotional mentions, online contests and ticket giveaways, promotional Run of Site (ROS) banners on the station website and social media promotion (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and SnapChat) |

AMP Radio and the Marines executed local high school appearances throughout the LA area in October and November, 2015. They distributed game tickets and engaged with students on site during the school day. |
AMP Radio visited various locations throughout LA to distribute game tickets and generate awareness and excitement about the game.
